Who We Are

Remember the story about The Princess and The Pea? It was one of my favorites. The very idea that a pea, under 20 mattresses, could make someone uncomfortable.

As a grownup, a runner, and a practicing nurse, it’s become abundantly clear that the smallest annoyance in one’s shoe, or a tiny wound, or an errant nail becomes the biggest, life-altering problem. In the elderly and infirm, a “tiny” problem can grow to a huge, sometimes life-threatening issue.
